EMERGENCY SHELTER

St. Anne’s Place provides emergency shelter to women and their children which includes: basic needs provisions, intensive case management, children’s programming, health and wellness opportunities, and parenting and early childhood education.

All families seeking housing with St. Anne’s Place must contact the Hennepin County Shelter Team at 612-348-9410 (daytime) 612-673-9138 (evenings and weekends), located in the Hennepin County Human Service Center Health Services Building at 525 Portland Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN. The Hennepin County Shelter Team is the first point of contact for availability of rooms. St. Anne’s Place is unable to accept any self-referrals.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

Ascension Place provides transitional housing to single women without dependent children.  Applicants must have 60 days of sobriety and 60 days of mental health support and be eligible for GRH. Please call 612-588-0861 to inquire about the status of our wait list.  Please note that Ascension Place does not accept level 3 sex offenders or women who have recently committed a very violent crime.

PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING

Next Step Housing provides permanent supportive housing – both site-based (North Minneapolis) and scattered site (Hennepin County) – to approximately 32 women and families. Each client lives in a one- or two-bedroom apartment, and pays rent supported by GRH, a state-funded subsidy.
